Privacy
Ohana Trips is a private, invitation-only app used by one family to plan a single trip. It is not open to the public.
What it keeps
Your name and email address (so you can be invited and sign in), the trip plans the family enters, and anything you choose to add, such as private notes. If you sign in with Google, the app receives your name, email address and a Google account identifier, and uses them only to match you to your invitation. Passwords are stored only as secure one-way hashes.
What it doesn't do
No advertising, no analytics or tracking, and nothing is sold or shared. Only invited family members can see the trip.
How long
The app and its data are deleted after the trip, by December 31, 2026. Encrypted backups are deleted at the same time.
